Really good food and nice service in central Kiel. Inside of restaurant is very nice and cozy. We will definitly go back there, during our next visit in Kiel! The meat was tender and the breading was just right. We were served by a wonderful waitress (blonde, short hair) who gave us a superb service. If you're looking for beer and german food, this is the place.

It was a very successful evening. The food was excellent and the wine went very well with it. We would love to come back.

We found a stylish restaurant with a quiet atmosphere with my sister and niece. The waiter was very friendly and accommodating all evening. Bluebird and venison goulash are highly recommended. I'll definitely go to the Ratskeller again. Everything is nice and clean. Must try.

With a well-functioning booking system, we ordered a table for 8 from home. After we were warmly welcomed we had a nice evening with the meals from a well put together menu and fine drinks. Whoever visits Kiel should stop by here! All thumbs up!

Unfortunately the menu has gotten smaller, but we still got a great meal. Also had some suggestions from the waitress, who was also very, very friendly and helpful. Always my pleasure

Had a meal there today and what can you say, super friendly staff, fantastic ambience and super delicious food! Big compliments to the chef! It's just restaurant prices, but for this meal you really like to pay more!

The portions were large, and the menu more Italian than German. But we liked the food there. It was great comfort food. And though German food really isn't vegetarian friendly, they had enough options for us. The reason I am leaving this review is to help other vegetarians who can't speak a word of German find food in the neighbourhood.

Nice and huge restaurant with a very friendly and highly professional service. Great outdoor seating with the company of beautiful sea gulls. The food was OK, the sauces (on the salad as well as on the fish and meat) tasted and looked like badly prepared finished products. That could certainly be improved, every else was great. Thanks.

Especially good for tourists that would like to eat out in a typical Kieler Restaurant. €€ ? The price is pretty normal. You can even order things that aren't on the menu. I payed for Bratkartoffeln as much as I pay for a Portion of French fries ?. Very nice of them for my girlfriends ? birthday. ⭐ The location is right under the Rathaus. More central isn't possible I think ? ? ⭐The customer service was one of the nicest I've ever experienced in a Restaurant. No regrets And the food was just awesome. Too long wait time, waited an 1,5 hours for food, that wasn't that good. And the waiter decided to take her non-deserved tips without asking.

Happened to arrive in the Ratskeller, because in other restaurants everything was full. Definitely did not regret it. Here's a real Wiener Schnitzel for 21,90 €. We had to try that. Delicious. Price - Performance Top! We will definitely come back.

The ambiance was not so appealing. But the staff was great and the food was delicious.

I was not impressed with the quality and presentation of the food. Maybe it was as it should be for a traditional dish of kale with 3 types of meat, but I was not that delighted. The entourage is quite nice.

Food was decent. The waitress was very kind.

Very picturesque place. Lunch with venison ragout. Rather good but not very hot and, eaten calmly, it has become cold. White tablecloth already stained by the previous customer: it is not really a good sight ... Very kind waiter.

Order the jägersnitzel you won't be disappointed!
